There are several benefits to having an indoor water fountain in your home. These benefits include health of mind, body and spirit.

Some of the benefits include:

Water fountains churn out negative ions that bond with atmospheric toxins, dust and allergens.

Also negative ions soothe the bodys muscular, circulatory, nervous and respiratory systems for optimum health. Water fountains aid in stress relief and relaxation, acts as a natural humidifier.

Negative ions even promote the production of serotonin, which is a mood enhancing neurotoxin in your brain. This is the Feel Good hormone your body produces. Plus, the beauty of the fountain is revered and even thought to influence a happy feeling by providing a calming effect as they soothe nerves and restore body, mind, and spirit.

Water fountains produce white noise which calms all the outside distracting noises such as traffic or co-workers while helping to raise alertness and focus. When there is white noise in a room, its easier to focus on your creative energy because no one noise is interrupting your thoughts.

Fountains can be used to correct the chi in your home or office by having wall fountains placed near the door but flowing towards the interior of the space or office. This benefits business transactions in the career area of the feng-shui. Table top fountains in an office or study space benefits the knowledge area of feng-shui and helps with learning again if they are flowing towards the room and not a door or exit.
