Review of San Antonio's Best DJ / Karaoke Company

I've been living in San Antonio for almost 6 years. I am a regular at DJ/karaoke shows. I get a kick out of watching really great singers perform and the really bad singers who are falling all over themselves drunk.

One of the best shows I've seen is Big Daddy Fred's show. He's the owner of Big Tyme Entertainment . I've seen other DJ's work their shows in similar fashions however, I've never seen other DJ's get the results that Big Daddy does at his shows.

If you ask him what his trick is to entertaining people, he will tell you, "let the music speak for you and there is perfect time and place for every song". He doesn't believe in constantly talking in between the songs or acting like a fool on the dance floor to get people interested in his shows. He works off people's memories by playing the songs that remind them of their "firsts". Might be a first kiss, a first concert, a first date, or cruising in their first car, etc.

Big Daddy does play around during the show. Occasionally, you will see him pick up a mic stand and use it as an air guitar.

During his karaoke shows, he does sing the first and last songs of the night and will sometimes mix in a couple more that are requested by his audience. His voice is amazing. It's very rare to find a singer that has complete mic control. He certainly doesn't look the type to be singing the latest country song or a rock song from the past. I've seen people actually go stand in his face to make sure he isn't lip syncing to a song because it sounds just like the original artist singing.

Big Daddy isn't just a DJ/Karaoke host. He's also a business owner. He and his wife have run Big Tyme Entertainment since 2004. They started out with just one system and now have three systems that are usually working every weekend. They employ 5 DJ/Hosts and that includes two teen DJ's (with 4 years experience) to accommodate the parties for teens or younger people. Their DJ's have been taught by Big Daddy how to put on a "Big Tyme" show and how to handle situations that arise during shows. He wouldn't have those DJ's working for him if they weren't good.

Big Tyme performs at all kinds of events from birthday and anniversary parties to weddings and corporate events for over 10,000 people. ( pictures on their Show Pictures page )

To read more about their company, you can go to http://www.BigTymeEntertainment.ws There is a " Feedback " page that will give you testimonials from previous satisfied customers.

Big Tyme Entertainment is not just another DJ/Karaoke company. They strive to be the best at everything they do. I've seen customers book their events over a year in advance to make sure they got the perfect DJ/Host. Not every DJ is the same, and some charge way too much because they get radio air time. If they were making so much money on the air, why are they working private shows on the weekends? Big Tyme is a full time DJ/Karaoke company. They support their family and offer part time jobs for 5 other DJ's from the shows they do during the week.

Go to one of their shows and see if you don't agree that their show is one of the best in the area.
